Character Spotlight
Meet Kentucky native and Army Ranger, Sergeant First Class Rob Miller, a dedicated military soldier and family man. When forced to choose between soldier or family, he will always put family first.
He hails from Tollesboro, Lewis County Kentucky, and grew up with a rifle in his hands; mostly shooting varmints and coyotes. Graduated from Lewis County High School, where he was the JROTC Shooting Champion (.177 caliber Air Rifles) and lettered in cross country. He completed two years at Eastern Kentucky University on an ROTC Scholarship and achieved an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. He then left college to join the Army to fight the “War on Terror”.
Rob met his future wife Ellie while attending Eastern Kentucky University. They have a daughter, Evie, 6 years old.
Rob joined the Army as an Armorer, went to sniper school to understand the rigors of a sniper and their requirements, to better tune their weapons. He reenlisted for Ranger School. Last assignment was with the Regimental Special Troops Battalion, Ranger Reconnaissance Company, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga.
He accepted a Voluntary Discharge and bought an RV to travel the country to help his family heal, after the trauma of a significant family event.

Operation Phantom Hawk: Ambushed depicts the soldiers life on and off duty. Also, what the soldiers dependents have to endure when the spouse is sent to a place they know not where or when or if they will return.

Do I need to read the books in order?
- It is not required to read the books in order, however, book two, Operation Phantom Hawk: Cartel Justice will complete the Operation Phantom Hawk series. While a prelude in book two will provide readers a brief overview, you will benefit from reading Operation Phantom Hawk: Ambushed first.
- I haven’t decided whether subsequent books will be series or stand alone.
